Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting


2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
4 eggs
3 cups grated carrots

Cream Cheese Frosting

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour two 9″ cake pans.

Sift all dry ingredients together and add egg, oil and carrots. Mix well. Pour evenly into cake pans and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until tested done.

Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting of your choice.
